Here is the rest of our session from Baby Emmett and his sweetheart sister Joey.  

This week is a busy work week for me. Since I am not sure how much time I will have to blog I thought I would put a sneak peek from a newborn shoot I did this week. Baby Emmett came into this world at a surprising 9 lbs 12 oz! Here is a few quick photos from our session together. Check back tomorrow for the rest of my favourites!

Last week, I met up with Deena and her family to take some graduation celebration photos. After a little mix up as to which UFV campus we were supposed to be at we started our session… Deena’s daughter Libby was a cutie pie who was also very low on sugar and sleep. After some a few minutes and a few fruit snacks we were good to go! Here are my favourites from our session.

 We wanted to have some fun with the family shots so I tried to lay everyone down in a circle. Libby disappeared under her Uncle’s shoulder at first. It took a few minutes and the final result was worth the wait :)

 Congratulations Deena! I can see that your family is so proud of you!

Dear P & G,

Thank-you for the fantastic maternity session this weekend! Your excitement to meet your little one and anticipation for her safe arrival were evident from the moment you answered the door. Our time together was a blast and I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard during a session. You are a great couple and I can tell you will make fantastic parents!

Can you remember the last time when you had a perfect moment? For me that moment was last night. It was 2 hours before sunset, the perfect hour to shoot. The weather was overcast with dynamic clouds and a bit of sun peaking through, the perfect lighting. I had a gorgeous family who wanted creative family photos. They had a perfect couch for our creative session and best of all they had a perfect little girl who was just perfectly happy. I think the session was a gift to me as I did very little “work” last night. The only difficult part of editing this session was which photos should I blog. My first pick included 50 images. Once I narrowed it down I was at 35 and third look through landed me with 25 perfectly gorgeous images. I know most of you don’t have very long to read through my blog post, so if you are in a hurry I must apologize. Your going to have to scroll fast. But if have some time and you want to experience my perfect moment last night then by all means, take your time and enjoy :)
